375 zone M, then E, and finally T). I took military zones out, and
376 things seem much better. Also, the default behavior of parsing
377 time zones appears to default to GMT in the absence of better
378 info, which is less bogus than assuming the mail came from the

575 was merged into mbx_open, but the interface for mbx_open
576 doesn't support the clear variable, so that functionality was
577 lost. The map_open interface still contains "int *clear" in
578 the prototype, but never sets it.
580 My patch eliminates "clear" from the map_open interface (I
581 checked to make sure that map_write is the only client of
582 map_open). Furthermore, my patch also sets the "clear"
583 variable properly at the beginning of map_write by calling
584 fstat(). This eliminates the bug in that the value of "clear"
585 being used later in the routine was just stack garbage.
587 Having a bad value of clear causes this next bug to be
588 triggered: The fp file pointer was being opened with fdopen,
589 but in two of the three switch cases it wasn't being closed.

838 I've added a new file to the nmh tree called

841 to go from newest at the top to oldest at the bottom to match the
842 ChangeLog convention. Unfortunately there are no change logs for
843 versions of MH prior to 3 in the MH tar files available at
844 <ftp://ftp.ics.uci.edu/pub/mh>. Also, it appears to me that there
845 are MH-6.6 changes that aren't documented in the logs.
847 I've also added ChangeLog_MH-6.7.0_to_MH-6.8.4.html. This is
848 based on mh-6.8.4/papers/changes/mh-changes.ms. The nroff format
849 and its "catman"-type output are a pain to deal with, but I was
850 loath to throw away the formatting, so I converted the file to
851 HTML. The only actual markup in the body are the "<B>" and "<U>"

853 doable to view the file in plain ASCII mode as well. Note that
